Judith grew up in North West London, the daughter of librarians, surrounded by books. Following in the family footsteps, her first job was as a Saturday assistant in the local library, with special responsibility for the ballet section, which she loved. After studying Fashion at Saint Martins, she worked as a Fashion Editor and later, as a features writer, mainly writing articles on pregnancy and parenting. More recently, she completed an MA in Children’s Literature at Birkbeck University and now works as a school librarian. She lives in South East London.
Isabel Adomakoh Young is an actor and writer based in London. She has performed with The Royal Court, The Globe, and Bristol Old Vic. Her recent on-screen credits include Apple TV’s Foundation, and Netflix’s Heartstopper. Isabel has performed at festivals and events with Pecs: The All-Female Drag Troupe and Shotgun Carousel. In 2021, Isabel won the Black British Theatre Award for Best Lead Actress for her role as ‘Juliet’ in Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Romeo and Juliet.
