About this audiobook

A fantastic counting adventure from Julia Donaldson and Anna Currey – perfect for listening to at home, in the car, at bedtime or at any time at all!

When Ted falls out of bed, three tearaway mice whisk him off on a breathtaking adventure. They zoom around in fast cars, go on a balloon ride and climb a building-block mountain. It's all very exciting, but will Ted ever get back to his bed?

One Ted Falls Out of Bed's counting theme is woven perfectly into a magical, rhythmic text by Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo. This audio edition of the story is read by Saskia Wickham and features a read-along track.

About the author

Julia Donaldson has written some of the world's best-loved children's books, including modern classics The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo's Child, which together have sold over 17 million copies worldwide, and the hugely successful What the Ladybird Heard adventures. Julia also writes fiction, including the Princess Mirror-Belle books illustrated by Lydia Monks, as well as poems, plays and songs – and her brilliant live shows are always in demand. She was Children’s Laureate 2011-13 and has been honoured with a CBE for Services to Literature. Julia and her husband Malcolm divide their time between West Sussex and Edinburgh.

Anna Currey's warm, classic watercolour style has brought to life many enchanting picture books. Her previous work for Macmillan includes Rosie's Hat, also written by Julia Donaldson. Anna was born in Norfolk, grew up in Ireland and now lives near Bath with her husband.
