My favorite in this series. Kendra has grown into her new time period and finds new ways using her skills to solve crimes. She involves others in her crime solving activities and finds herself in harrowing situations. While not completely adjusted or liking everything she and others must endure, Kendra perseveres. I loved the mysteries in the quirky characters lives and never guessed who the murderer was. The historical period details especially the medical treatments are wonderful.
