In 2007, Justin founded Elyon Private Equity, a start-up that focused on investing in state-owned companies that were looking to be privatized by the Government of Zimbabwe. In 2008-2009, the company pivoted its focus to investing in distressed and workout situations. In 2010, he worked in the private legal offices of a senior member of the Zanu PF, who also served as a cabinet minister in Robert Mugabe’s government for a decade. During this time, Justin worked as an investment analyst, analyzing companies that were looking for recapitalization for a private firm, Glocy Investments. In 2012, Justin founded Gloryhouse Capital, an investment advisory firm that focused on raising capital for real estate projects in Africa on the international capital market.

In 2019, Justin began his publishing career by starting a self-publishing company called Gloryhouse Publications. The company's focus was on publishing Christian motivational and inspirational books, and under the company, he published five books, including Money Success and Spirituality: Advice from God’s Business General, The Billionaire Playbook: Quotes from Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, The Wit and Wisdom Of Emmanuel Makandiwa: Perspectives in Money, Success and Spirituality, How to Overcome Negative Environments, and Three Weapons of the Enemy.

Justin currently lives in Kleinmond, South Africa, with his wife and two children. He is a devout Christian with a family history of serving in the ministry, with his mother being an ordained pastor. Justin's writing style and themes are heavily influenced by his upbringing in the midst of political and economic turmoil in Zimbabwe. National leadership is a theme that runs through his work, with a heavy focus on the history of the continent and its leaders, particularly in the post-colonial period from the 1950s onwards. Justin's other works focus on entrepreneurship and motivation, and he is currently working on expanding his series on African politics and leadership and motivation. Justin's most significant literary influences in the last five years have been the American economist, Dr. Thomas Sowell, and Lee Kuan Yew, whose autobiographies have been a lesson in practical economic management and leadership.
