Alex K. Williamson, MD is board-certified in and practices autopsy, forensic and pediatric pathology. He is Chief of Autopsy Pathology at Northwell Health and he directs the Northwell Regional Autopsy Service. As an Associate Professor of Pathology at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell he teaches medical students, trainees and professionals and he gives invited lectures at the local, regional and national levels. He is an advocate for competence in autopsy performance and reporting, and he works to improve death certification at all levels of government. His research interests include the health risks and consequences of modern slavery, the development and implementation of an integrated forensic response for victims of trafficking and slavery, and the history of medicine, pathology and surgery during the American Civil War.
Andrea is an actor, author and comedian renowned for her characterisations (one of her personas wrote Strain Your Gherkins by Ethel Chop in 2007). She has written and performed seven comedies for theatre, for which she has received three Comedy Awards and one Green Room Awards nomination. She has appeared on TV in The Panel, Kath & Kim, The Librarians, City Homicide, Neighbours and Judith Lucy’s Spiritual Journey.
