Kim Meeder is a bestselling author and the cofounder and chief communications officer of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, a ministry that rescues abused horses and pairs them with children in need. Founded in 1995, the ranch has rescued over 300 horses, served over 100,000 children, and helped establish 152 similar ministries worldwide. Kim's work has garnered national acclaim, receiving both the Jefferson Award and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Award for public service. She's also been recognized by the Red Cross, Deschutes County Sheriff, Woman of the Year, and the Oregon State Senate. She and her husband, Troy, live in Central Oregon.
