About this audiobook

First in line, first in love...

The ghost of Lachlan McLean is the first to accept the Muir Witch's dare. After a quick act of bravery, he'll be free to exact his revenge. But plans go amiss when a certain lass refuses to be saved.

It’s not just Harper’s trust fund that’s in danger—it’s her life. Her despicable stepfather only has to keep her alive until he gets control of her money, and he’s happy to kill anyone who tries to aid her. So she’s on the run and determined to stay on her own—so no one else has to die. But a lunatic in a kilt decides she needs a hero, and he’s not easy to ditch.

If Harper can’t convince the Scot he's a liability, she’ll be planting another bodyguard in the ground. And if Lachlan can’t get the woman to stand back and let him fight the Highland way—which he couldn’t do at Culloden—he’ll have haunted the battlefield for two hundred seventy years for nothing.

Ghosts of Culloden Moor: Audiobooks: Source: Booksprout. The author has an interesting and immersing writing style complete with likeable characters, humor and romance, and old-fashioned honor and ethics. I enjoyed the well done narration by the two readers. The Scot is easy to understand. The young witch is the perfect character. Lachlan, #2 - This is an interesting story, too. Set in America, Lachlan discovers his duty. Being a ghost has its advantages. 5* THE GATHERING, #1 - This is my firs

I loved the second book in the Ghosts of Culloden series. Readers will need to read book one to know what is going on. There's little explanation of how the men of Culloden came to be a part of the modern world. People new to the series would be confused if they started with book two. The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing Lachlan and Harper to life, though some of the modern American slang sounded a bit strange coming from the Scottish narrator. This is a wonderful romance.

This is the second book in the The Ghosts of Culloden Moor Series, a Scottish Paranormal Romance. I liked Lachlan and Harper’s clean romance. The story is well written, heartwarming, original and intriguing. Andrew McDermott and Jenn McGuirk did a great job bringing this beautiful story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Jamie, the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
