About this audiobook

Roman McNamara is not only the president of the Savage Kings of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina but he’s also the king of one-night stands.

Growing up in a tourist town where there’s a party every night means living up the good life with no commitments to anyone but the MC.

There’s just one woman Roman can’t get off his mind no matter how hard he tries....

Five years ago, Charlotte Newsom’s husband, Adam, died for his country. She hasn’t been able to move past the death of her best friend and soulmate and fears she never will.

When tragedy strikes during a bachelorette weekend, Roman and Charlotte’s paths finally cross in the most unexpected way.

Charlotte has no idea that Roman served in the Marines with her husband, or that he’s been keeping an eye on her for years, all while continuing to keep her husband’s secrets.

I read Roman, Book 1 of Savage Kings MC-South Carolina some time ago. When the audiobook was offered, I could not resist hearing what Roman and Charlotte's story would sound like. It was AWESOME! Although I love the written word, this book in audio was everything I hoped it might be. I do not change my review of the book at all. The suspense, steamy romance, and drama abound. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout & am voluntarily leaving this review.

New and Intriguing MC. The plot of the story was intriguing and while there is a cliffhanger of sorts, it’s a solid book one for the Savage Kings MC Series. Roman is the president of the MC and has a lot of influence and weight in the tourist community. He also has a soft heart for those in need as he continues to support his deceased military brother in arms’ significant people. One especially is Charlotte the widow. They were brought closer together due to her friend suffering a horrific act

Thank you to Lane Hart and D.B. West for allowing me to listen to a copy of this book. This book did not hold back on the punches. The very beginning had me thinking that I was not going to like this, due to what Charlotte's Husband did. However, I still enjoyed the romance within the story. It really encompassed the way that fate works its wonders, whether it seems like it's a wonder or not. This book had me crying, angry, and made me want a love like Roman and Charlotte's.
