Susan Beth Pfeffer is the author of more than seventy books for children and young adults. Her bestselling book The Year Without Michael received a starred review from School Library Journal. It was also an ALA Best Book for Young Adults, a School Library Journal Best Book of the Year, a Booklist Editors’ Choice, and winner of the South Carolina Young Adult Book Award.
