This was the first audio book i ever bought, and GIRL was i pleasantly surprised! As a fan of Lilly Singh's youtube channels, it was amazing to hear her read her book with as much enthusiasm and passion as she has in her youtube channels. I especially enjoyed all of her tips for progressing in her career, the puns and jokes and the special audio recordings from the influential people in her life. It was also great to have a little behind the scenes information about certain aspects of her trips throughout the world, and i could even recall the VLOGs which showed those parts of her life. It was like listening to a movie in a way. I truly loved this book, and looked forward to listening to it in the mornings on my way to work. I am so moved by it that i could definitely see myself reading it again in the future (something i never do). Thanks Lilly Singh, you rock!

About the author

A native of Ontario, Canada, currently residing in Los Angeles, 28-year-old Lilly Singh is an actress, performer and comedian. She has developed a large, engaged fan base, thanks to her hilarious sketch videos, observational comedy and no-nonsense advice. She turned her focus to writing this book after her recent sell-out world tour, A Trip to Unicorn Island.
