Michael Rosen, former Children's Laureate, is renowned for his work as a poet, performer, broadcaster and scriptwriter and for his commentary on the politics of education. He is Professor of Children's Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London. Michael presents Radio 4’s Word of Mouth. His short novel Uncle Gobb and the Dread Shed was shortlisted for the Little Rebels Award. Michael is one of the most significant figures in contemporary children's poetry. In drawing closely on his own childhood experiences he continues to introduce new generations of children to the delights of poetry.
Ewan began his career in the Royal Shakespeare Company for their production of The Merry Wives of Windsor, then spent five years with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre's youth theatre, appearing in a number of plays and musicals. He made his television debut in 2014 in BBC's Doctors. He is also a voiceover artist, narrating books for Benjamin Zephaniah, Frank Cottrell Boyce and Joanne Harris. He recently voiced Talpa, a discerning mole-like alien for Doctor Who: Maker of Demons, alongside Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred.
