Seasons of the Year: The Adventures of Fenek

Spring finally arrives in Sunny Land. Fenek’s parents have a lot of gardening work to do. Will our friend become their little helper?

• learn about spring, the first season of the year;
• learn the names of tools used in the garden, and what they are used for;
• get to know the name of a spring flower and find out where its name comes from;
• find out how nice it is to help his/her parents;
• understand what “protected plants” are, and what we should never do with them.

Go for a walk with your child. Watch carefully the plants you come across and try to name them. Check the names of the plants you do not know on the Internet or in an encyclopaedia. It is the best way to teach your child to get new information. Good luck!
