Day trading is the act of buying and selling a financial instrument within the same day, or even multiple times over the course of a day, taking advantage of small price moves. It can be a very lucrative game if played correctly. But it can also be a dangerous game for those who are new to it or who don't adhere to a well-thought out method. This book will teach you all you need to know in order to make money with day trading, from general day trading principles, to deciding when to buy and sell, common day trading strategies, basic charts and patterns, and how to limit your losses. As a new day trader you should never lose sight of the fact that you are competing with professional traders on Wall Street and other experienced traders around the world who are very serious, highly equipped with advanced education and tools, and most importantly, committed to making money. Day trading is not gambling or a hobby. You must approach trading very, very seriously. As such, I wake up early, go for a run, take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, and fire up my trading station before the markets open in New York. I am awake. I am alert. I am motivated when I sit down and start working on the list of stocks I will watch that day. This morning routine has tremendously helped my mental preparation for coming into the market. Whatever your routine is, starting the morning in a similar fashion will pay invaluable dividends.

This book is a highly practical "textbook/handbook" for day trading. The author has a unique ability to explain complex concepts in a way that a total newbie can understand. What I found to be exceptionally helpful is his "holistic approach" to day trading as an occupation. While this books is full of specific, practical material to hone your trading skills it also contains a wealth of information on the lifestyle and psychology of trading. This makes "How to Day Trade for a Living" indispensable for anyone looking to get into this vocation. Unlike the typical "get rich quick" YouTube marketers, aspects of trading and he does that very early in the book. Like other reviewers I was a little turned off by the pitch to join Bear Bull Traders online community. While it is something I'm open to in the future I'm yet to join. Having read other trading psychology books I realize that a good community can aid one's resilience and significantly increase your chances of success. What really distinguishes from others in this crowded day trading space is his ability to teach. I've recommended this book to friends and I'm sure you'll find it to be very helpful in your day trading journey. Good luck!

A short but fascinating book looking at a specific system that the author declares and proves makes a regular profit. I have back-tested this system personally and it works very well, it is a little high maintenance, but the lessons help within are vital. It is also quite humorous which is welcome in the dry world of investing.A gripping bestseller that blew open the secrecy behind high-frequency trading (HFT) and embarrassed Wall Street, large investment banks and even retail brokers.Packed full of fascinating insights, this book really lets you know what you are up against in the markets. it is vital you get an understanding of the current state of the stock market and what drives price fluctuations.
