Sir Durwin must overcome a cloak-and-dagger plot to usurp the king in the final novel of the Enchanter General, a historical fantasy trilogy set in twelfth century England. Dave Duncan was a prolific author of fantasy and science fiction, including the fantasy series the Seventh Sword, A Man of His Word, and the King's Blades, whose books have been translated in fifteen languages. He was both a founding and honorary lifetime member of SF Canada.
