About this audiobook

From the award-winning author who writes with "humor and heart" (Jill Shalvis, New York Times bestselling author), comes a charming small town where hope, friendship, and family leads an unlikely couple to their happily ever after.
"A sweet, homespun romance that tugs at the heartstrings in all the right ways."---Entertainment Weekly
"Liasson's work here is among the best of its kind."--- Akron Beacon Journal
"Emotional, heartwarming romance you can't put down."--- Lori Wilde, New York Times bestselling author on Then There Was You
Gabby Langdon has always tried to make people happy. She even went to law school to please her father, and now she's a highly successful-albeit bored-attorney. But Gabby secretly dreams of being a writer, so for once she does something for herself-she signs up for a writing class taught by best-selling novelist Caden Marshall. There's only one problem: her brooding, sexy professor is a distraction she can't afford if she's finally going to get the life she truly wants.
Recently divorced and suffering from the world's worst case of writer's block, Caden is in Angel Falls to get his life back on track. He's focused on teaching and providing a stable and loving home for his young daughter, Ava. The last thing he needs is to jeopardize his new job, which means keeping plenty of distance between himself and his talented new student-no matter how tempted he is by Gabby's beauty, kind heart, or the sparks that fly whenever they're together.
What readers are saying about The Way You Love Me:"People who love small town romances and fun families will enjoy this."
"A delightful read."
"Liasson continues to lead with her heart and turn reading into an emotionally fulfilling experience."
"[A] wonderful, heartwarming story of struggle, hope, and love."

Second in the Angel Falls series and once again lured me right into the story and kept me there until the last page. Gabby is grinding through her days working in a law firm trying to make partner and is almost there. Her life is her job, pretty much does what she felt was expected of her. Have a real job and not something fanciful like being a writer like her late mother. But she does sign up for a creative writing class taught by an author and single dad Caden. Caden has moved to Angel Falls to teach at the local college after his award winning first novel gets upended by his ex wife and boatload of drama surrounding that. His publisher is waiting for his next book but Caden has lost his muse and motivation. He's playing it safe by choosing to teach in order to take care of his daughter. His daughter comes first since his ex is absent. His mother owns the bookstore in town. Gabby just so happens to be in Caden's class and after a run in with each other in the parking lot the tone seems to be set for their relationship. He's a real jerk to Gabby in class. He pretty much cuts her off at the knees but Gabby is no pushover. She counters his every line. He needs to get hired on permanently and is busy writing a grant that will ensure him a position. Gabby decides to go through her mother's papers and reads some of her work, inspiring her a little more to write and follow her heart. Meanwhile we see the relationship between Caden and Gabby evolve, along with daughter Ava. I loved the plot line and the writing was stellar. It's refreshing to read a book that has two adults act like adults, baggage and all, the dialogue real. From beginning to end this book is another stellar work from Miranda! I love this series and look forward to the next book! arc from NetGalley and the publisher
