About the author
Miriam Pawel is the author of The Crusades of Cesar Chavez, a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist and California Book Award winner, and The Union of Their Dreams. She is a Pulitzer Prize-winning editor and reporter who spent twenty-five years at Newsday and the Los Angeles Times. She lives in Southern California.
Christina Delaine is a SOVAS Voice Arts Award and multiple AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator who has recorded over 100 audiobooks. She is also an Audie Award nominee. An accomplished stage and voice actor, Delaine has appeared on stages across the country and has voiced scores of commercials and video games.
