It's been 15 years since Ursula was last in charge of Hollyfield Stables and the business has gone from strength to strength. Surely she can be trusted to run the riding school for six weeks while her stepdaughter, Ella, goes to Paris with her husband for the summer? After all, she'll have her daughter, Vanessa, to help her, as well as her grandson, Adam. On the other hand, maybe she can't. Within days of Ella's departure, Ursula has travellers camping illegally in the paddocks, an incontinent dog, and a love-struck daughter who's fallen for Hank, the new Western riding instructor. To crown it all, it appears that, unbeknown to Ursula, someone is planning to steal Midnight Prince, the stud's highly prized black stallion. As one mishap follows another, it seems the occupants of Hollyfield stables are going to have a long and eventful summer, in this hilarious romantic comedy from the author of Green Wellies and Wax Jackets. With Ursula LLoyd-Duncan in charge, nothing less could be expected.

ກ່ຽວກັບຜູ້ຂຽນ

Morag is a Library and Information Advisor, and author of Muddy Boots and Mishaps (the second in her Hollyfield Stables romance series), plus 3 other novels, including The Coach Trip, her latest book. She worked as a veterinary receptionist for fifteen years, managing to combine that with a part-time library job, but has always been a writer at heart. A stint of writing short stories for magazines led to her winning her first writing competition and her prize, a word-processor, made the business of writing so much easier than on her old, manual typewriter. She progressed to novel writing after completing an online creative writing course, and her first romantic novel, A Love Betrayed, was published by Robert Hale Ltd for their Rainbow Romance series. Morag describes herself as a people watcher, and loves writing about quirky characters and things that make her smile. Her love of animals, and horses in particular, inspired her to write Green Wellies and Wax Jackets. This was followed by Muddy Boots and Mishaps. The final part in the trilogy will be published in 2024. A Geordie at heart, she now lives in Suffolk and finds walking the countryside with her husband and their rescue dog, the perfect place for inspiration and relaxation.
