Daniel Sellers grew up in Yorkshire. He has lived and worked in Liverpool, Glasgow, Dublin, and Vaasa in Finland. He now lives in Argyll with his partner and a wheaten terrier called Rasmus. Daniel loves crime fiction, old and new, particularly the work of Margaret Murphy, Mo Hayder, Ruth Rendell, P D James and Josephine Tey.

Karen Bartke is an actor and voice artist from Glasgow, Scotland. She is best known for her portrayal of Officer Karen in BBC Scotland mockumentary Scot Squad; for her roles in the New York Times’ #1 bestselling Audible version of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman and as the winner of the BBC Audio Drama Award for Best Debut Performance in My Name Is. She has appeared in more than 40 audio dramas and comedies for Radio 4 and Audible and has narrated 11 novels to date.
