Myths of Eschatology

Eschatology is a part of theology concerned with the final events of history or the ultimate destiny of humanity. This concept is commonly referred to as the “End Times” or “Last Days”. In this field of study, there is a minefield of disinformation, misunderstandings, and myths concerning many future events: The Rapture. Does the church go through the “Great Tribulation”? Is there a literal “Millennium”? Does the church “replace” Israel? What happened to the Davidic covenant? Is everyone in Heaven equal? Under grace, does behavior matter?
