About this audiobook

Oh dear, is that rain?

There are good rides and great adventures. Oliver was having a good ride until it became a great adventure.

Oliver forgot to look out for rain clouds. Now, his only goal is to get home safe, if not dry. After the storm finally passes him by, there's still time for a lively competition with friends and a nice, warm slice of pie.

About the author

Jeremy Bartelt is a Sioux City, Iowa based audio engineer, music/audiobook producer, voice artist, sound designer, and composer. He brings a lifetime of classical music study (bass trombone, piano, voice) to his over 25 years of audio engineering and teaching. He now runs his own freelance audio business, 2219 Sound. 2219 Sound is built on experience in many different cities and venues with many different genres and projects. It is also built on a passion for independent and underground projects to receive professional treatment and see a public release. Plus, in addition to his own career, Jeremy has mentored many students and bands to future success in their careers, through his 15 years of high school and college teaching Whether it is producing in million-dollar studios with endless resources or in a home studio with, well, not endless resources, Jeremy has the expertise and experience to bring almost any audio project to life, no matter how big or small.

Jeremy’s audiobook career took off unexpectedly after advertising his engineering business. Expecting work as a editor, proofer, and mastering engineer (which he does for national entertainment companies), he was surprised to be asked to be a voice artist, sound designer, and composer, as well. Now, he takes audiobook projects from script to mastered files.

If Jeremy is not in the studio, he is volunteering in his kids’ school, transporting his kids to one of their many events, or out running or biking.

Chip Haynes is an artist, writer, cyclist, juggler living in Tampa, Florida. In 2009, New Society Publishers of British Columbia, Canada, published both “The Practical Cyclist, bicycling for real people” in 2009 and “Wearing Smaller Shoes, living light on the big blue marble” in 2010. Satya House Publications of Hardwick, Massachusetts published Chip’s “Peak of the Devil, 100 questions (and answers) about peak oil” in 2010 as well. Two out of three won awards and picked up some cool endorsements. So there.

Chip is currently dabbling in fiction and poetry when he’s not pedaling in shorts and sandals.
