The man who shot the marshal is in the town jail and awaiting trial, and the man's outlaw brother is out there somewhere, intending to free him. A lot for McCabe to handle, but even though he's a preacher, he's also the nephew of the gunfighter Johnny McCabe.

Brad Dennison was born in rural New England and grew up reading Louis L'Amour, Luke Short, A. B. Guthrie, Jr., and Edgar Rice Burroughs. He is a member of the Western Writers of America. Brad fell in love with the Old West at a very young age.
J. Rodney Turner is a prolific audiobook narrator who specializes in historical fiction set in the post-Civil War era, as well as Westerns, mystery/thrillers, and crime dramas. Previously, he served as an air traffic controller in the Navy and in the Federal Aviation Administration.
