THE HOTLY ANTICIPATED SEQUEL
TO THE NO. 1 BESTSELLER CARRY ON

Simon Snow is back and he's coming to America!

The story is supposed to be over.

Simon Snow did everything he was supposed to do. He beat the villain. He won the war. He even fell in love. Now comes the good part, right? Now comes the happily ever after...

So why can’t Simon Snow get off the couch?

What he needs, according to his best friend, is a change of scenery. He just needs to see himself in a new light...

That’s how Simon and Penny and Baz end up in a vintage convertible, tearing across the American West. They find trouble, of course. (Dragons, vampires, skunk-headed things with shotguns.) And they get lost. They get so lost, they start to wonder whether they ever knew where they were headed in the first place...

With Wayward Son, Rainbow Rowell has delivered an audiobook for everyone who ever wondered what happened to the Chosen One after he saved the day. And an audiobook for everyone who was ever more curious about the second kiss than the first. It’s another helping of sour cherry scones with an absolutely decadent amount of butter.

Come on, Simon Snow. Your hero’s journey might be over – but your life has just begun.

Beautiful, awesome performance by Euan! Honestly, I'd listen to anything he narrates at this point. He portrays every character beautifully. I think I sadly outgrew Simon and Baz a little bit. This story wasn't for me, which is a shame. It didn't feel like I was reading about people who are almost my age, but more like I was still following teenagers' random adventures. Filled with lessons I've already been through, when one of my favorite parts of books, my whole life, has been learning some wisdom or other that stuck to me like a life lesson. It's still getting four stars, for having me pressing play every night shift I had this week, and absolutely keeping me on the edge of my seat with all the information on vampires that was entirely refreshing to me. Baz... is undeniably my favorite character. He's a little wiser than the others, feels like? Just me? Okay. Still though... a little less annoying, since he doesn't whine as much, haha! (Sorry, Simon!) And... yeah! Still attached to the characters, obviously, just won't be listening to/reading this book twice, I guess.

The second book in this series was just dull. It took me 2 months to finally finish and I only did that because I am a completionist.

Euan is an incredible narrator, and the book is excellent. I've listened to it six times.
