Once you read this book, you will realize that Gaslighters are pretty much everywhere. They seem to share qualities with narcissists and possibly sociopaths. The author is very thorough and also gives insight into the causes as well as therapies/strategies that can be helpful, for the victims and for the Gaslighters themselves( provided they have the capacity to look at themselves).

This book should be required reading for new therapist & managers... It really straight forward and gives great examples...I did not know much about gaslight but this book provides clear and concise info of what to look for in various parts of our lives..The recommendation for healing and therapy is important for anyone transitioning out this toxic relationship.

Highly recommend this book to help understand those Gaslighters in your life and to recognize certain behavior to prevent you from becoming one. I knew that the Gaslighter in my life upset me, but I could never quite put my finger on why. After reading this book, it validated my feelings and helped me to understand that it wasn’t me “over reacting “ their behavior is unhealthy.
