About the author
Rachael A. Woldoff is professor of sociology at West Virginia University. Her books include Priced Out and White Flight/Black Flight, which was awarded the Best Book Award from the Urban Affairs Association.
Robert C. Litchfield is associate professor of economics and business at Washington & Jefferson College.
