A year ago, just after graduating with a Master’s Degree in journalism, Summer Schauers left Tampa, Florida. She packed everything she owned in her trusty Jeep Wrangler ‘Miss Bumble’ and headed west to the wide open spaces of Arizona.
She has been working for the Tucson Herald Opinion ever since- becoming the lead reporter for the entertainment section. Things are going well but she is looking to expand her resume from just restaurant openings and street festivals.
Summer had been harassing her editor for a front page, hard hitting -not food related- story when she is sent to cover the dentists’ convention in town. With her best friend and photographer Maxine in tow, a discouraged Summer heads to the convention center to cover what she fully expects to be a boring weekend of stuffy dentists and hours-long lectures about dental hygiene. A restaurant opening suddenly looks like a good thing.
She ends up getting a large helping of murder with side orders of blackmail, jealousy, and extramarital affairs.
Things are looking up for Summer!
Robert P. Wills retired as a U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Four in 2015. After 25 years of Army silliness, he decided that writing fantasy stories about unstable Gnomes was a logical career choice after writing intelligence reports for a living.
Robert lives in the Central Florida area where he and his wife are enjoying empty-nesting and spending far too much time wandering around various theme parks. Well not Sea World because they yell at Robert when he pets the dolphins. At the dolphin petting pool. He doesn't get it either.
Along with writing, Robert is an inventor with three patents (6,559,556, 7,293,681, and 8,561,951) and several innovations in his workshop. One innovation, the World's Greatest Garden Hose Guide is available on Amazon- when he can keep it in stock.
His patented onboard carrying system for Jeep Wrangler Doors is now on sale on several online outlets as well as at the various Jeep and Off Road events he visits as a vendor.
Robert sells his inventions under the name SixToesInnovations- a US Veteran owned company with his products made in Central Florida.
I am not sure why I wrote my biography in the third person.
Robert is funny that way.
