About this audiobook

Dr. John Gallo is a Jesuit priest and the youngest professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Georgetown University. His two great loves are his research on the Dead Sea Scrolls and teaching. While attending a conference at the Sorbonne with his two graduate students, he receives notification from a friend and former colleague in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Jordan about a new find in a nearby cave. It is a complete version of the Book of Enoch written in Biblical Hebrew. The scroll is in pristine condition, but a strange metal object resembling a dagger with blunted edges and no sharp point was also found with it. The mystery of the object deepens after a failed attempt to steal it; the thief accidentally leaves behind his phone. The only phone number on it is for the headquarters of The Society of Angels in New York City, a philanthropic society with offices throughout the world. Why would a philanthropic society be interested in a Dead Sea Scroll or a strange metal object? As Dr. Gallo continues translating the newly found Book of Enoch, he also launches an investigation into The Society of Angels, leading him into more intrigue and danger for his life.
