4.5 stars — As should come as a surprise to no one who knows me, S’bren and Penny were all that and a bag of chips for me. They were my kind of characters, and the story was just fun and sweet and steamy with enough intrigue to keep me going. I adore me a beta boy, and while S’bren is a bit of an unconventional one, I’m still counting him. He was so wonderfully awkward, I was melting. That fish. I mean seriously boy, you are so cute.
