Susan Cooper is best known for her acclaimed fantasy series The Dark Is Rising, which also includes Over Sea, Under Stone, The Dark Is Rising (1976 Newbery Honor Book), Greenwitch and The Grey King all of which are now available on audio from Listening Library. She is also the author of The King of Shadows available from Listening Library, read by Jim Dale. Born in Buckinghamshire, England, Susan Cooper moved to the United States in 1963 and now lives in Fairfield, Connecticut.
