She completed a three-year acting course at Limelight Drama School with Red Stitch Actress and drama teacher Olivia Connolly. Ruby is an avid voiceover artist, with audio credits to her name such as Honda, Alcoholics Anonymous and World Vision. She has played multiple screen rolls for both student and professional productions.
