Sasha Wasley was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. She completed a PhD in feminist literature at Murdoch University in 2006, and went on to work as a copywriter on topics ranging from mine safety to sex therapy. Her debut novel, The Seventh, was published in 2015, after which she gave up her copywriting business to pursue her fiction writing career. Today, she lives and writes in the Perth hills region with her partner and two daughters. A lover of animals, Sasha spends her free time pottering in the garden with her flock of backyard chickens. Wasley is passionate about levelling the playing field for members of the community experiencing disadvantage. She is an Ambassador for the Books in Homes Australia charity which provides books of choice for children in disadvantaged circumstances to keep in their home libraries. Wasley's writes middle grade fiction as Ash Harrier and paranormal young adult novels as S.D. Wasley. Her adult titles include Spring Clean for the Peach Queen (2021) and A Caravan like a Canary (2022). Her latest book is Snapshots from Home.
Rose Flanagan is an Australian actress most recently seen in the Amazon/Matchbox series Class of ‘07. She made her TV debut in Chris Lilley’s comedy Ja’mie: Private School Girl and other roles soon followed, including Five Bedrooms, Why Are You Like This?, How To Stay Married, Utopia and Glitch. Her flair for humour has seen her perform at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Highly Flammable Love. Rose also hosts the SceneWorkout podcast Get Your Act Together!, interviewing industry pros to assist actors in navigating the current Australian industry landscape.
