But first a distress call forwarded by the Styrx results in unwelcome visitors, creating political complications for the young power couple responsible for the embryonic Human Empire. Will Flower and her human and alien allies manage to keep the guests they want and get rid of the guests they don't want, all while launching a business manufacturing obsolete Sharf trade ships under license?
