The faculty and headmaster of a boys' private school repeatedly pursue a trio of poetic pranksters-"Stalky," "Beetle," and "Turkey"-as they wage war on fellow students and the "establishment" with unwavering energy and creativity. Short-story writer, novelist, and poet Rudyard Kipling was the first Englishman to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature and was hailed as a literary heir to Charles Dickens. His most popular works include Kim, Just So Stories, and The Man Who Would Be King and Other Stories.
