All ancient and indigenous peoples insisted their knowledge of plant medicines came from the plants themselves and not through trial-and-error experimentation. Stephen Harrod Buhner is an Earth poet and senior researcher for the Foundation for Gaian Studies. He is the award-winning author of more than twenty books, including Healing Lyme, Healing Lyme Disease Coinfections, Herbal Antibiotics, and Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm. He lives in Silver City, New Mexico.
