Cop is fine literally crippling people in ends-justifies-the-means justice, but doesn't just beat up the main villain? and the cop uses violence to coerce what he needs from others, but doesn't use violence to coerce the bad guy? Doesn't add up. The book could've used some critiquing and tuning up, everything felt forced with flimsy pretexts. Audiobook could've done with another round of editing, a couple re-done lines made it past the final cut. Sloppy work, Stephen, see me after class.
