About this audiobook

The book will cover dozens of fascinating and creative ways to make money in business with very little competition, as an employee, in business, and (occasionally) as an investor. Using true stories, the author's own experiences, and extensive research, readers will be introduced to unusual and sometimes dirty jobs and businesses, many of which they have not heard of or read about previously. The approach will be to provide entertaining information along the lines of the Discovery Channel television program "Dirty Jobs," but there will be two distinct differences. First, the emphasis will be on ways to make money which are accessible to the average person. The jobs and businesses in this book will be possible and practical for most people. Second, emphasis will be placed on how to make good money. It may be easy to start a business cleaning up dog droppings from homeowners yards, and it may be entertaining to read about a business like this, but that's not enough. In this case, for example, the reader would be introduced to the concept of eventually scaling up and hiring employees, then contracting to clean out animal shelters. A "Where The Money Is" section will be included at the end of each selection, to suggest ways to make more than a little extra cash or even more than just a living. Sample jobs include: Crime-scene cleaning business Part-time street vending Septic cleaning industry Selling podcasts online Setting up surplus goods sales
