About this audiobook

He tasted like tequila and the fake name I gave him was Rose.

Four years ago, I decided to get over one man, by getting under another. A single night and nothing more.

I found my handsome stranger with a shot glass and charming but devilish smile at the end of the bar. The desire that hit his eyes the second they landed on me ignited a spark inside me, instant and hot. He was perfect and everything I didn’t know I needed. That one night may have ended, but I left with much more than a memory.

Four years later, and with a three-year-old in tow, the man I still dream about is staring at me from across the street in the town I grew up in. I don’t miss the flash of recognition, or the heat in his gaze.

The chemistry is still there, even after all these years.

I just hope the secrets and regrets don’t destroy our second chance before it’s even begun.

***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW ***** Could we be any more southern with names like Magnolia and Brody? Magnolia is quite the sweet southern belle her name implies. She’s gone off to the big city for school and her -time boyfriend doesn’t. They tried long distance dating but we all know it doesn’t always work and it doesn’t for Magnolia and Richard. He breaks her heart on what turns out to be a total monumental, life-changing day in Magnolia’s life. I didn’t realize this was kind of a love triangle and I say that loosely as Richard is a punk and I no likie!! This is a bit shorter than I prefer my audiobooks to be especially since it’s a cliffhanger. I feel like novels need to be at least 6 hours but honestly, that’s my preference and I know everyone has their own thoughts on book lengths. Sebastian York is a fab narrator and I really feel like this is his age group, college/right out of college age. He excels at this age group and brings the fella’s to life. I’d actually just listened to my first audiobook narration from Lidia Dornet just last week with Adriana Locke’s Like You Love Me. I happen to really enjoy her narration. I feel like she really complimented York. She definitely added an enjoyable element to the audiobook.

This is the first book in the Tequila Rose Series, a Small Town Romance, and second chance to love. This is a good story. The characters are great. I liked Magnolia and Brody. They share a strong chemistry. Robert is an intriguing character, supportive, but he is not really likable. Renee, Magnolia's best friend, is very supportive. The storyline is intriguing, and filled with secrets and lies. The story ends on a cliffhanger. Sebastian York and Lidia Dornet did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Autumn Nights Whiskey, the next installment in the Series, to know what happens next.
