S. Lewis wrote a great number of essays and shorter pieces on various subjects. He wrote extensively on Christian theology and the defense of faith but also on ethical issues and the nature of literature and storytelling. Within these pages is a treasure trove of Lewis' reflections on diverse topics.

À propos de l'auteur

Clive Staples Lewis (1898–1963) was a professor at Oxford and Cambridge. An atheist until he was 30, he is remembered as a Christian apologist who expressed the great truths of his faith with penetrating logic and winsome wit. Lewis wrote more than forty books, including The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Mere Christianity.

Geoffrey Howard (a.k.a. Ralph Cosham) (1936–2014) was a British journalist who changed careers to become a narrator and screen and stage actor. He performed in more than one hundred professional theatrical roles. His audiobook narrations were named “Audio Best of the Year” by Publishers Weekly, and he won seven AudioFile Earphones Awards, and in 2013 he won the coveted Audie Award for Best Mystery Narration for his reading of Louise Penny’s The Beautiful Mystery.
