even though i am only about a quarter way through it is eyeopening. Hearing the situations described nearly 200 years ago comparing to now and they are even more excentuated as the rise of ai now not only threatens the artisans and craftsmen as described but also creatives and artists.

Totalitarianism is the main reason why Soviet Union and Communism as a whole failed, if we had free and fare elections (under the rule that all the parties are Communist) none of this would have happened, if we had free and fare elections some brainless dude like Stalin wouldn't have became the leader. Communism is, was and will be always better than Capitalism.
