Carolyn Mackler has written feature articles for JumpMs., and The Los Angeles Times. Mackler is known for her novels Infinite in Between, The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things, Tangled, Guyaholic, and many other titles. Her books have been published in over twenty countries. Mackler was born in New York. 

Jay Asher's debut YA novel, Thirteen Reasons Why, has appeared regularly on the New York Times bestseller list for the past nine years.
