The family of Adam Nichols shows up in Frederickport when Marie ends up in a nursing home with a broken hip. Yet unlike Adam, who is trying to get his grandmother home, the new arrivals are more concerned with selling off her assets and keeping her in the questionable facility. While Danielle tries to help her dear friend, she begins wondering, maybe not having a family has its good points after all. And it's not just Marie's family causing problems; Walt's distant cousin begins making his own demands.

Bobbi Holmes is the author of the Haunting Danielle series, which includes the novels The Ghost of Marlow House, The Ghost Who Loved Diamonds, and The Ghost Who Wasn't. Under her full name, Bobbi Ann Johnson Holmes, she has also written a number of nonfiction titles, including Havasu Palms: A Hostile Takeover.
Anna J. McIntyre is the author of the Coulson series and the Unlocked Hearts books.
Romy Nordlinger is a New York City-based actor whose credits include featured roles on Law & Order (Officer Talbor), FBI, Manifest, All My Children, Bull, and Real Life. As an audiobook narrator, she has lent her talents to over 350 titles ranging in genres from romance and self-help to sci-fi and mystery.
