درباره این کتاب صوتی

On the run from the redcoats, the two young highwaymen, Will and Bess, find themselves in Galloway, Scotland, blamed for a murder they did not commit. Here they are captured by smugglers and become embroiled in a story of hatred and revenge that goes back for generations, to the days of the Killing Times. Whose side will they take? Can anything they do end the cycle of religious hatred? And will their own friendship survive?

درباره نویسنده

Nicola Morgan knew when she left university that she wanted to be a writer. While working to achieve that ambition, she was also an English teacher, later specialising in literacy difficulties. Now, after writing numerous bestselling books for young children, Nicola is the author of critically acclaimed novels for older children and young adults. Her novels Fleshmarket and Sleepwalking both won Scottish Arts Council prizes, the latter winning the Scottish Children's Book of the Year. Nicola lives in Edinburgh with her husband, two daughters and an exceptionally intelligent dog – who gives her most of her ideas.
