Once, in the dead of night, a small town was plagued by a series of mysterious disappearances. The locals whispered in hushed tones about "The Hollow Eyes," a malevolent presence that lurked in the depths of the nearby forest.
One foggy evening, a group of friends—Lena, Jacob, Sarah, and Tim—decided to investigate the rumors. They ventured into the heart of the forest, their flashlights cutting through the thick mist-like blades. As they ventured deeper, the trees seemed to close in on them, their twisted branches casting eerie shadows.
Suddenly, Lena froze in her tracks. "Did you hear that?" she whispered, her voice trembling.
"Hear what?" Jacob asked, scanning their surroundings.
"Voices," Lena insisted. "Whispers in the wind."
Sarah shivered, clutching her jacket tightly. "We should turn back. This place gives me the creeps."
“You all are making something out of nothing,” laughed Tim.
But before they could retreat, a haunting melody filled the air, echoing through the trees. The friends exchanged terrified glances as the song surrounded them, seemingly emanating from the darkness itself.
"What is that?" Jacob exclaimed.
