A curious man, wearing a long coat, a wide-brimmed hat, and whose face is entirely swathed in bandages save for an obvious fake pink nose, walks into an English inn to the shock and horror of many of the townspeople. Beakers and chemicals in tow, the man demands his solitude. It’s strange enough as it is until his money begins to run out and mysterious burglaries occur all over town.
The Invisible Man, written in 1897, chronicles the antagonistic interaction between the citizens of a small town and a man who had discovered how to turn himself invisible.

To Google : AI voices like this voice with a strong accent do not match this classic book. Why vary so far away from a voice like HG Wells (the author)? It doesn't sound right with H.G. Wells classics. Why? No. The rhythm of the AI reading as the book moves along is NOT, yet, good enough to use instead of a human reading. A human can read and understand the 'acting' the voice must communicate to make the story come alive as the author, H.G. Wells wanted us to hear his story! AI is not used well in this case. AI voices, and a foreign accented voice for The Invisible Man?! AI is not ready yet to do justice to this book. Google Books, please, I would love a chance to read it again if you offer an updated version. An AI version truly read as HG Wells would want it to be heard! Please send me a notice, and I'll buy, read, and review again. ❤️theClassics
