I'm a former traditionally published author from many years past who, after a long hiatus, has returned to writing under the pen name Joe Orange. My focus now is simple: I want to entertain readers with carefully crafted tales of the strange and unexplained.

My Strange Detroit series weaves cosmic horror and science fiction through a noir-tinged cityscape, but my work reaches beyond these boundaries. I focus on stories about individuals or small groups facing bizarre circumstances, always keeping one foot firmly planted in reality while the other steps into high strangeness.
