Burke Davis (1913-2006) was an American author and journalist best known for his narrative histories of the Civil War, including To Appomattox: Nine April Days, 1865, Sherman's March, and The Long Surrender.
J. Rodney Turner is a prolific audiobook narrator who specializes in historical fiction set in the post-Civil War era, as well as Westerns, mystery/thrillers, and crime dramas. Previously, he served as an air traffic controller in the Navy and in the Federal Aviation Administration.
