On his return to New York he is in the power of Live Corporation, a hedge fund seeking niche markets in evil. They require, as part of his management development, that he recover fifty million dollars from the son of an African Dictator. In addition he is required to provide cremated remains of ten happy people so that he can complete a ceremony to become an evil Druid. Megan reveals that she is madly in love with Connor and Megan's attractive mother wonders why, if he won't sleep with her daughter, he won't try her. How will Connor cope with all this disruption to his normal peaceful life?
