À propos de ce livre audio

With a shrill whistle the Night Train is off, delivering its passengers to children's dreams. The yeti, the ballet dancer, the friendly monster and the princess all have starring roles. But when the train comes to an unexpected halt it's a race against time to get it moving again. Can they reach their dreams before midnight?

Quelques mots sur l'auteur

Matilda Woods was born in 1989 and has been writing stories for the last seven years. She grew up in a small town near Canberra, Australia and splits her time between writing middle grade fiction and working as a youth worker. When she was younger she loved reading fantasy novels but now writes in the genre of magical realism. The idea for The Boy, the Bird and the Coffin Maker, her first published novel, came to her one evening while out running with her dog, Lily. From this speck of an idea grew a tale that spans one year in the lives of two people: a frightened boy named Tito Bonito and a lonely old coffin maker named Alberto. Together, they dream of a future where they can both be free and then, with courage, set sail to find it.

John Voce is a graduate of London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and has worked as an actor in the UK for more than 30 years. In addition to narrating audiobooks, an occupation John loves, he has also appeared in Downton Abbey, Doctor Who, Primeval, Grantchester, Neighbours, Holby City, Miranda and Jonathan Creek. He also voiced Thomas The Tank Engine for a live international tour. He has resided in Melbourne, Australia since 2015.
