He is also a trial lawyer and teaches law and literature at the University of Miami School of Law. He lives and writes in South Florida.
Kevin Baker is the author of one previous novel, Sometimes You See It Coming, and served as chief historical researcher for the recently published The American Century by Harold Evans.
