 This Audiobook  is an audio rendering of the book "The Practice of Religion" published by Advaita Ashrama, a publication center of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math.

In this lecture delivered on 18 April 1900 at Alameda, California, Swami Vivekananda points out that in order to be really spiritual, we need to be dynamic and practise spiritual disciplines instead of being content with lifeless theories and dogmas.

 Swami Vivekananda was the foremost to introduce Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world and is credited with raising interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. He was a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India. Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission.
