She has a BA in creative writing from Louisiana State University, a MEd in gifted education, and was privileged to study under the award-winning author Ernest J. Gaines in grad school. She lives in Louisiana with her husband and four children.
Julie-Ann Elliott is a Washington DC-based stage, film, and tv actor, as well as voice-over artist.
